Meet at the Rocky Valley Trailhead.

Seasons are changing at Pinnacle! Come get a sneak preview of plants that are getting ready to bloom along the Rocky Valley Trail. If you have a plant guide, make sure to bring one!

Stargazing Hayrides

Can you point to the north star? Join park interpreters for an enjoyable evening searching the night sky on a hayride. The night wouldn't be complete without hot chocolate! Advance reservations required. Admission: $8 adults, $4 children ages 6-12

Survival Skills: Fire Workshop

Meet at the visitor center.

Can rubbing two sticks together really make fire? Join park interpreters to learn how to build a fire using a primitive bow drill. Contact the park to reserve your space in this fun, hands-on workshop. This is a fun program for families with children looking for an outdoor activity to do together. Admission: Free

"Spring Plants" Walk

Meet at the Kingfisher Trailhead.

Stroll along the easy, paved, 1/4-mile Kingfisher Trail with a park interpreter. We'll be sure to take time to "stop and smell the blooms" of spring! This is a fun, engaging activity for families with children who want a safe outdoor activity to do together. Admission: Free

Meet at the West Summit Trailhead.

What does it mean to "leave no trace"? Why is it so important? Join a park interpreter as we explore a trail to find out why Leave No Trace principles are so important to you. Admission: Free

Spring Overnight Hiking Adventure

Experience the beauty of spring along the Ouachita Trail during this overnight adventure guided by a park interpreter. Contact the park for more details and reservations. Admission: $10

9 am - 2 pm

Spring Canoe Float

Experience the beauty of spring along the cypress-lined Little Maumelle River on this guided 4½-mile trip. Advance registration and payment required. Limited number of canoes available. Fee includes canoes, paddles, lifejackets, and a guide. No previous paddling experience is necessary, but you should be comfortable around water. Not recommended for children under age 6. Please contact the park for further details. Admission: $30 per canoe

Trail Work Day

Put your muscles to the test! Place your mark on a park trail by volunteering your energy to trail maintenance. This is a great way to step outside, enjoy a heart-healthy activity, and breathe some fresh winter air. Dress warmly in clothes you can work in. Contact the park for further details. Admission: Free

Spring Lake Cruise

Join a park interpreter for a guided cruise on Lake Maumelle, near the base of Pinnacle Mountain. Experience firsthand the magnificent beauty of spring in bloom. Advance registration and payment required. Limited seating available. Admission: $10 adults, $5 children ages 6-12, under 6 ride free
